Motown & Yard Work

This past weekend we took a little drive to Morristown to visit Mimi & Granddaddy! Not only was it fun to hang out with the grandparents, but we also managed to make out like bandits. We walked into the house empty-handed and left with an adorable towel & shirt from Mimi (all Jack Cousteau-themed!) and a diaper box full of awesome, pristine hand-me-downs from Josh, JoAnna, and Connor! (They sent this via-Mimi from Atlanta. We've got connections people :)

There were tons of clothes and also three pairs of shoes! We don't wear shoes much in the Brimer house simply because Jackman has feet that are...how should I put this...thick. I guess you could say they are as tall as they are long. So I was thrilled to finally have shoes that fit his precious eggroll feet!

Probably the best part of the new duds was the hat. He wore it almost the entire time. I couldn't get over it. Check below for the adorableness.
He kinda looks like Bill Murray from Caddyshack - dontcha think?

Fuzzy pic of shoes, hat, and sippy cup!

Cuddling with Mimi - shoes and hat still in place!

Watching some TV with Granddaddy...

We were even reunited with our good friend Oat Bran! He was pumped.

Later that week we met up with Anderson to go for a walk. This was all to take advantage of the one day in two weeks that was actually pleasant. By the way, where is Spring???

After helping Anderson weed eat the Glover's front yard,

We came home to help Daddy mow the lawn. Jack has no idea that in 14 yrs - this job will be aaaaalllll his :) Poor kiddo.

On a sad, final note, the Ocean Wonders Jumperoo is now dismantled and out of sight. I feel like Jack Cousteau has outgrown his first submarine. It's the end of an era. So as the jumperoo joins
the playmat, boppy lounger, and swaddle - please pause for a moment of silence.
